This book might have been less confusing if I had read the two previous books in the series first The hero was a one time spy for the government during the war His encounters with his fellow spies were sometimes confusing.Other than that, it was a basic Regency period novel The hero was a lawyer, which was ineresting. lovely book to read very easy and lovely set out to it good characters with an interesting background and the two together makes a lovely combination of stubborn pride and longing for something.can t wait to readfrom this author While this book wasn t as riveting as the first two in the series, I still enjoyed Sir Douglas Drury s story and the way he overcame his personal obstacles to be with Juliette, a Frenchwoman Now, it s on to Buggy
